Coaching for Children & Young People

A creative, nature-based support service for children (age 7+) and young people during times of change, designed to ease emotional load for the whole family.

As a life coach, mentor, and artist, I offer gentle, practical support to children and families going through change.

This might be moving house, changing schools, family tensions, loss (human or animal), or any moment when emotions need space, but life as a parent doesn’t slow down.

I work with children using a carefully chosen mix of creative tools and time in nature. Through simple art processes, walking, observing the natural world and quiet conversation, children are given a safe way to process what they are experiencing, without pressure to “talk it all through.”

Nature becomes a teacher. Creativity becomes a language.

This support is also for you as a parent. It’s about easing the load, knowing someone is holding space for your child, keeping a gentle eye on them, and helping them move through change in a healthy, grounded way.

Book a single Creative Art Coaching or Coaching in Nature Session, or choose a discounted block* of 4 or 6 blended coaching sessions.

 * If you purchase a discounted block, sessions can be shared between children in the same family.

** Workshops are for up to 4 children. You can opt to purchase a canvas on the day for an additional £10 per child. Paper is included in the price.

Why I Offer Coaching for Children and Young People

I am a trained life coach with a deep rooted passion for supporting children, teenagers, and young adults in a calm, creative, and nurturing way. My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, including my own childhood experiences of dyslexia and finding safety and self-expression through art and nature.

Over the years, I have noticed that young people naturally feel at ease in my presence. I offer a gentle, grounded space where they can slow down, feel heard, and explore their inner world without pressure or expectation. Becoming a mother further deepened my understanding of the emotional landscapes children move through and strengthened my commitment to supporting them with empathy and care.

I previously founded Astrid’s Art House, where I facilitated creative sessions and art based children’s parties. While this work was joyful, I felt called to move into deeper, more meaningful connection. This led me to train as a life coach and establish my current practice, where I now bring together coaching, creativity, and presence.

I offer 1:1 sessions and small workshops (up to 4 participants) for children (from age 7+) and teenagers, supporting emotional awareness, confidence, self-expression, and inner calm.

I am fully DBS checked, safeguarding trained, and fully insured, ensuring a safe, professional, and supportive environment for every child and young person I work with
